The Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers has renewed a plea for information on Pyles/Cagnow's whereabouts on the anniversary of his disappearance.

The 12-year-old boy got off his school bus on Awol Road in Jonestown but didn’t walk toward his home. He was last seen near by the secretary at Jonestown Bible Church at 2:45 p.m. and then never heard from or seen again.

Pyles had a history of running away "but usually came home after a few hours," police say.

He originally is from Luray, Virginia, and both of his parents were living in Luray when he disappeared, according to previous police reports.

Crime Stoppers released a composite photograph of what Pyles would look like now from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, he would now be 34 years old.

A $5,000 reward for information leading to him is available.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS.
